Hotel Cottages

At Sällegården you’ll find our traditional Småland cottages, Tyra’s & Stina’s Cottage. All cottages have a modern standard and are furnished in a typical Småland style. The hotel cottages have names from the farm where each of the houses has its own history. During 2024, all houses have undergone both large and small renovations/upgrading.

Our hotel cottages are a combination between cottages and hotels and they are now part of Trakt forest hotel’s range of accommodation.
The beds are made with fine linen and you eat breakfast in our log house. These accomodations are suitable for both couples, friends and families. We recommend staying for several nights to fully explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Our pricing is designed so that the nightly rate is lower when you book multiple nights.

Stina's Hotel Cottage

You are welcomed into an open-plan layout that combines both living room and kitchen, with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace as the central focus. There are three double rooms and one single room to suit different needs and preferences. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside, a lovely terrace awaits where you can enjoy the tranquility during the day or in the evening sun. The garden is spacious and offers plenty of room to relax.

The hotel cottage underwent a careful renovation in 2016 to restore its rustic charm, and in 2024 the bathroom was updated to further enhance your comfort.

Tyra's Hotel Cottage

Tyra’s hotel cottage is a beloved gem that appeals to both couples and families. It features a wonderful tiled stove, saw-cut pine floors, and wide baseboards that add to its charm. There is one triple room, one double room, and one single room to suit different needs and preferences. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside, a lovely terrace awaits where you can enjoy the tranquility during the day or in the evening sun.

In 2024, the entire cottage underwent an extensive renovation and extension. This has enhanced both the comfort and character of the cottage while preserving its rustic atmosphere.
