We value the importance of preparing each dish with high quality and seasonal ingredients. Therefore we do not offer an à la carte menu. Instead we allow the ingredients to receive the attention and care needed to develop their flavors.

Feel free to try our three-course menu during the evening seating, a cherished experience where each dish is carefully composed to highlight the region’s flavors. The menu varies according to the season and is always created with the finest ingredients from our surroundings.

The log house’s ground floor is disabled-friendly, if you need to sit there please specify this in your booking.

Breakfast buffet

The log house invites you to a morning filled with local delicacies. We serve carefully selected ingredients that reflect our commitment to offering products closely connected to both farm and forest.

On the buffet you will find freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, homemade marmalades, locally produced cheeses and charcuterie, as well as organic juices and freshly brewed coffee.

Breakfast is served between 08:15 – 10:00 and pre-booking is necessary to ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience.

Evening openings

Our evening openings offer a dining experience beyond the ordinary. Choose between a three-course dinner, a two-course dinner, an main course or our popular Traktbräda filled with local delicacies. All are crafted with the finest seasonal ingredients. Each dish is a tribute to our region and local flavors.

The drinks menu complements your dining experience with carefully selected wines from Italy, craft beers from Växjö, or organic juices from Huskvarna. To conclude the evening in the best way, freshly brewed coffee or tea is always included.

Pre-booking is required to ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience. We welcome you to arrive between 18:15 and 18:30.

Friday lunch

Start your weekend with a relaxing lunch, great food, and pleasant company.

The Friday lunch includes a main course accompanied by a varied salad buffet. To complete your lunch experience, drinks, coffee or tea and a delicious cake are also included.

Lunch is served between 12:00 and 13:30 and pre-booking is necessary to ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience.

Bring family and friends to Traktköket and enjoy a delightful weekend buffet. The food is prepared with the finest seasonal ingredients, all with a strong local connection.

After enjoying the buffet you’ll end your meal with a delicious dessert and freshly brewed coffee or tea. Our beautiful environment, both indoors and outdoors, creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

The buffet is served between 12:00 and 14:00 and pre-booking is necessary to ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience.

Christmas buffet

Christmas may still seem far away, but for those of you planning ahead and wanting to book your Swedish christmas buffet, we offer a memorable experience.

At Traktköket you will be welcomed with warm homemade mulled wine and snacks outside, accompanied by a crackling fire. Inside we have set up a buffet with classic Swedish christmas dishes mixed with accompaniments in the spirit of Traktköket, all made with selected locally sourced ingredients.
