We love Christmas, and we want to share that with you!

At Trakt’s Christmas celebration, we are of course inspired by all the traditions surrounding this holiday, but we also want to think in new ways and challenge the ideas of what a “real” Christmas should be.

We believe high-quality ingredients are important, and from a sustainability perspective we primarily work with local producers.

We serve our popular weekend breakfast and give it a Christmas touch with, among other things, Christmas porridge and Christmas ham.
We serve carefully selected local ingredients in a cozy, nature-inspired setting. Enjoy our homemade bread, farm-produced cheeses, homemade jam, along with freshly brewed coffee and waffles.
A flavorful and sustainable start to the day, surrounded by peace and rural charm. Open between 8:00–11:00.

Welcome to begin the Christmas season with a festive evening with us at Trakt. You will be greeted with warm homemade glögg and snacks outside the Log House, together with a crackling fire. Inside, we have set up a Christmas buffet featuring classic holiday dishes mixed with some new accompaniments in the spirit of the Trakt kitchen. We have selected what we believe are the tastiest parts of the traditional Christmas table, using carefully chosen ingredients with local connections.

After the buffet, a winter-inspired dessert and a sweets table with homemade Christmas candies will be served. As with all our cooking, we work with seasonal ingredients and draw inspiration from the farm and the forest.

Glöggprovning

Start the evening with a cozy glögg tasting in our tent hut! A guide will take you on a flavor journey through several local glögg varieties, accompanied by suitable snacks, all in a warm and rustic setting. This is available on the dates we serve our Christmas buffet.

After enjoying the glögg, an inviting buffet awaits inside our log house for a continued wonderful evening.

Julmiddag

On selected evenings in December, we invite you to a cozy three-course Christmas dinner at Trakt – as an alternative to the traditional Christmas buffet.

With us, you will experience a relaxed pace, crackling fires, and a thoughtfully composed dinner inspired by the flavors of winter and Christmas.

Served between 16–29 December.

Trakt’s roasted focaccia with hot-smoked salmon, cultured cream, and grated farm cheese from Räven and Osten

Main Course:
Slow-cooked beef chuck with Christmas flavors, roasted potatoes in onion butter, slow-cooked red cabbage, and cinnamon-roasted carrot

Dessert:
Panna cotta with orange and gingerbread
