Terms & Conditions for booking at Trakt Forest Hotel

Cancellation
• Cancellation earlier than 30 days prior to arrival is fully refundable.
• For cancellations 29–14 days prior to arrival, 25 % of the total booking amount will be charged.
• For cancellations 13–7 days prior to arrival, 75 % of the total booking amount will be charged.
• For cancellations 6–0 days prior to arrival, 100 % of the booking will be charged.

Rebooking
• You can rebook your stay earlier than 30 days before your arrival without the rebooking protection. The price for the new booking may be adjusted depending on season and weekday.
• With our rebooking protection, for 495 SEK, you can rebook your stay up to 24 hours before arrival. You can rebook to a new date within three months from the original arrival date.
The price for the new booking may be adjusted depending on season and weekday, and rebooking is subject to availability. Please note that rebooking protection does not apply to last-minute packages.
• To rebook/cancel within 30 days of your arrival, contact us at booking@traktforesthotel.com or call +46 383-56 62 80. Otherwise, you can adjust your booking via your booking confirmation.
Should restrictions be imposed by Swedish authorities that make travel to Trakt Forest Hotel impossible, you have the right to move your booking free of charge up to 1 year in advance.

Additional Information
• Your accommodation is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM.
• During fire bans, all activities involving open flames are cancelled; these are not charged.
• Our accommodations, restaurant, and public areas are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Violations may result in charges for cleaning or laundry etc.
• If a guest chooses to leave the hotel earlier than the booked stay, no refund will be given for the unused nights.
• Trakt Forest Hotel’s prices do not include suitable clothing. We recommend bringing clothing appropriate for activities. The hotel is not responsible for damage to personal clothing during participation in activities.
• If the hotel has booked a taxi for you, you are responsible for any additional costs due to delays.
• The hotel is not responsible for property in the room, but if staff have acted negligently or carelessly, the hotel is liable.
• Forgotten items are kept by the hotel for up to two weeks after departure. If you would like us to send them to you, this can be arranged for a fee covering shipping and handling.
• We reserve the right to make changes to times, prices, payment, and discount terms during the season.
• Group bookings and special arrangements may be subject to specific terms.
• Late payments will incur interest according to applicable Swedish law.
• Foreign guests are registered upon check-in in accordance with Swedish law and the Schengen Agreement.

Guest Responsibilities
• Monitor your email and be reachable at the phone number provided at booking.
• Check your booking confirmation and report any errors immediately.
• Indicate at booking if you have mobility restrictions, food allergies, or other needs.
• Follow rules, instructions, and regulations for the room and premises.
• You are responsible for any damage to the property or inventory caused by you or your party.
• In case of disruptive behavior, the hotel reserves the right to evict guests without refund for the remaining stay.
• It is not allowed to publish or distribute photos from Trakt Forest Hotel for commercial purposes without written approval.

Complaints / Disputes
• Issues and complaints must be reported immediately to the reception or to our emergency number. If problems are not reported during the stay, no compensation can be claimed afterward.
• If you are not satisfied with compensation, a written complaint must be submitted to Trakt Forest Hotel as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after departure.
If an agreement cannot be reached, you may contact the Consumer Advisory Service in your municipality or the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN). Contact details are available at www.konsumentverket.se and www.arn.se.

Force Majeure
Force Majeure refers to unusual, unforeseeable, and unavoidable events outside Trakt Forest Hotel’s control that prevent the trip from being carried out.
These are events that the organizer could not reasonably have anticipated when the agreement was made and whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.
Including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riots, civil unrest or strike, government action, terrorist acts, natural or industrial disasters, fire, severe weather conditions, river or flood levels, airport closures, and may also include labor disputes affecting third parties, technical issues, maintenance problems, or unforeseen operational decisions by airlines such as schedule changes or IT infrastructure disruptions (including but not limited to our website).
Under these circumstances, Trakt Forest Hotel is released from liability or other penalties.
