What does a night in a forest suite at Trakt Forest Hotel cost??
Select ‘Book’ in the navigation to get to our bookings, where also all our rates are presented. When you book more when one night the price each night is lower per night, check our packages and offers.
What is included in my booking at Trakt Forest Hotel?
A breakfast buffe made out of local produce and ingredients. A robe and slippers are available in the forest suite. Coffee and tea are available at all times, both in the forest suite and in the log house. The Lunch Package and Dinner are optional add-ons.
How do I get to Trakt Forest Hotel?
By car: on riksväg 47, turn off towards Alseda. In Alseda: follow the signs to Trakt Forest Hotel, which is about 6 km away.
By train: the closest train station in Nässjö. From Nässjö: transfer
By plane: Växjö Airport or Gothenburg/Landvetter Airport are the closest airports. From the airport: rental car.

Parking with electrical charger is available close to the Log House, where you check-in. There is a path to the forest suites, about 300 meters.
What are our Terms & Conditions for booking?
Cancellation
• Cancellation earlier than 30 days prior to arrival is fully refundable.
• For cancellations 29–14 days prior to arrival, 25 % of the total booking amount will be charged.
• For cancellations 13–7 days prior to arrival, 75 % of the total booking amount will be charged.
• For cancellations 6–0 days prior to arrival, 100 % of the booking will be charged.
Rebooking
• You can rebook your stay earlier than 30 days before your arrival without the rebooking protection. The price for the new booking may be adjusted depending on season and weekday.
• With our rebooking protection, for 495 SEK, you can rebook your stay up to 24 hours before arrival. You can rebook to a new date within three months from the original arrival date.
The price for the new booking may be adjusted depending on season and weekday, and rebooking is subject to availability. Please note that rebooking protection does not apply to last-minute packages.
• To rebook/cancel within 30 days of your arrival, contact us at booking@traktforesthotel.com or call +46 383-56 62 80. Otherwise, you can adjust your booking via your booking confirmation.
Should restrictions be imposed by Swedish authorities that make travel to Trakt Forest Hotel impossible, you have the right to move your booking free of charge up to 1 year in advance.
Additional Information
• Your accommodation is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM.
• During fire bans, all activities involving open flames are cancelled; these are not charged.
• Our accommodations, restaurant, and public areas are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Violations may result in charges for cleaning or laundry etc.
• If a guest chooses to leave the hotel earlier than the booked stay, no refund will be given for the unused nights.
• Trakt Forest Hotel’s prices do not include suitable clothing. We recommend bringing clothing appropriate for activities. The hotel is not responsible for damage to personal clothing during participation in activities.
• If the hotel has booked a taxi for you, you are responsible for any additional costs due to delays.
• The hotel is not responsible for property in the room, but if staff have acted negligently or carelessly, the hotel is liable.
• Forgotten items are kept by the hotel for up to two weeks after departure. If you would like us to send them to you, this can be arranged for a fee covering shipping and handling.
• We reserve the right to make changes to times, prices, payment, and discount terms during the season.
• Group bookings and special arrangements may be subject to specific terms.
• Late payments will incur interest according to applicable Swedish law.
• Foreign guests are registered upon check-in in accordance with Swedish law and the Schengen Agreement.
Guest Responsibilities
• Monitor your email and be reachable at the phone number provided at booking.
• Check your booking confirmation and report any errors immediately.
• Indicate at booking if you have mobility restrictions, food allergies, or other needs.
• Follow rules, instructions, and regulations for the room and premises.
• You are responsible for any damage to the property or inventory caused by you or your party.
• In case of disruptive behavior, the hotel reserves the right to evict guests without refund for the remaining stay.
• It is not allowed to publish or distribute photos from Trakt Forest Hotel for commercial purposes without written approval.
Complaints / Disputes
• Issues and complaints must be reported immediately to the reception or to our emergency number. If problems are not reported during the stay, no compensation can be claimed afterward.
• If you are not satisfied with compensation, a written complaint must be submitted to Trakt Forest Hotel as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after departure.
If an agreement cannot be reached, you may contact the Consumer Advisory Service in your municipality or the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN). Contact details are available at www.konsumentverket.se and www.arn.se.
Force Majeure
Force Majeure refers to unusual, unforeseeable, and unavoidable events outside Trakt Forest Hotel’s control that prevent the trip from being carried out.
These are events that the organizer could not reasonably have anticipated when the agreement was made and whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.
Including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riots, civil unrest or strike, government action, terrorist acts, natural or industrial disasters, fire, severe weather conditions, river or flood levels, airport closures, and may also include labor disputes affecting third parties, technical issues, maintenance problems, or unforeseen operational decisions by airlines such as schedule changes or IT infrastructure disruptions (including but not limited to our website).
Under these circumstances, Trakt Forest Hotel is released from liability or other penalties.
What are the times for check-in/check-out?
Check-in is from 15.00, check-out is at 11.00. If you arrive early or stay after check-out, and you can have access to the Log House. Its also possible to book a activity before check in or take a walk in the area.
Are there toilets and showers in the forest suites?
Yes, we want our visitors to have a comfortable stay at Trakt Forest Hotel, even if we are located in the deep forests of Småland, Sweden.
Is it possible to charge a car at Trakt Forest Hotel?
Yes, we have charging stations for electric cars here at our parking. We have a charging card you can borrow at the reception, we take a fee for the charging that is paid at check-out. There is only slow charing. We have 3 charing posts with total 6 outlets.
Is there WiFi in the forest suites?
There is no WiFi in the forest suites, we call it WiFi-free. We want our guests to experience the nature and the tranquility instead. If you need WiFi in the forest suite for something special, please contact us. There is free WiFi in the loghouse. For conference guests or guests who need WiFi, WiFi can be turned on in the forest suite, talk to the staff.
Is it possible to stay in the forest suites during winterseason?
Our forest suites are winter isolated. There is floor heating in the bathroom and radiators in the rooms. A wood-burning stove increases the experience, especially in winter.
How do I make a fire in the the forest suite?
A fire instruction will help you safely make a fire. At certain times of the year, there may be fire bans depending on how dry it is. There are regular radiators in the suites so you don’t need to make a fire for warmth.
Is it possible to stay more than four persons in one forest suite?
Five people can stay if the fifth person is a child up to 12 years old. We will then arrange an extra mattress to put on the floor. To book five people, contact Sandra at booking@traktforesthotel.com
Accessibility at Trakt Forest Hotel?
Our parking and the first floor in the log house are wheel chair accessible, with ramp and wc. The forest suites at Trakt Forest Hotel are not handicapped accessible. To get to the suites you walk approx 300 m, partly up hill. For more questions contact us at booking@traktforesthotel.com
Who do I contact if I have a question about the forest suites?
Is it possible to come and stay with a dog in the forest suites?
Its allowed to stay with a dog i the forest suite TIlia. Its not allowed to let the dog be in the beds and in the sofa. We dont let dogs be in the restaurant, but it is possilbe to sit outside and eat with the dog during the outdoor season.
Do we offer romm service?
We do not offer room service. However, you are most welcome to visit the reception, where drinks and simple refreshments, such as a cheese platter, are available to take back to your room.
