Welcome to Trakts Farmstead Hotel – a place where charm meets comfort. Here, we offer our newest hotel rooms as well as cozy farmhouses. The hotel rooms are located in the historic Erik’s House, one of the older buildings on the farm, combining modern design with rustic character. From your room, you can enjoy beautiful views of the farm and the surrounding nature.

The hotel rooms and houses are located 200–400 meters from the restaurant, where check-in takes place and where you enjoy breakfast. At the restaurant, you can enjoy dinner prepared with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Dinner must be pre-booked a few days prior to arrival.

You are welcome to combine a few nights at the Farmstead Hotel with a stay in one of our forest suites.

The Farmstead Rooms

The farmstead hotel has seven rooms in varying sizes, accommodating up to four guests. Four rooms are located on the ground floor with views of the meadow where our cows graze during summer. Three rooms are located on the upper floor, accessed via stairs and an exterior gallery corridor. These rooms overlook the farmyard and the old oak tree. All rooms have a private entrance and an outdoor seating area.

The farmstead rooms are housed in what was formerly Erik’s House. Mattias’ grandmother Gurly and grandfather Erik once lived here. The building originally served as a machinery hall where farm equipment was stored during winter. When Mattias’ parents were to marry and take over the main farmhouse, Erik converted the building into a residence and extended it with a new machinery hall and storage area. Today, the house has been transformed into a modern farm hotel. Welcome.

Farmstead Room Standard

A beautiful double room overlooking the farmyard, offering a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere. Private entrance, private bathroom with shower, and a desk. Outside the entrance is a small terrace with outdoor furniture facing the courtyard. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Breakfast included. Located on the ground floor.

Farmstead Room Superior Flexible

Experience an authentic setting in a beautiful room where our cows graze just outside the window. Private entrance, private bathroom with shower. Suitable for two to four guests. Features a comfortable double bed and a cozy sofa bed accommodating two additional guests. Desk included. Outside the entrance is a small terrace with outdoor furniture facing the farmyard. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Breakfast included. Located on the ground floor.

Offers extra space and charm with 23 square meters, vaulted ceilings, and exposed wooden beams creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Private entrance, private bathroom with shower, and a desk. Located on the upper floor with a bench outside the entrance where you can enjoy the view. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Breakfast included. Second floor, no elevator.

Farmstead Room Deluxe

With 31 square meters, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams, the Deluxe Room offers additional space and character. Furnished with comfortable reading armchairs and a coffee machine for an elevated and more indulgent stay. Private entrance, private bathroom with shower, and a desk. Bench outside the entrance for enjoying your morning coffee. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Breakfast included. Second floor, no elevator.

The Farmhouses

Welcome to our traditional Småland farmhouses, Tyra’s and Stina’s. Each house carries its own history and is named after people who once lived on the farm.

In 2024, both houses underwent extensive renovations and upgrades to ensure modern comfort.

The farmhouses combine cottage charm with hotel comfort. Beds are made with fine linens, and you start your morning with a breakfast buffet in our beautiful Timber House or a breakfast basket in the cottage, depending on the season.

Whether traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, our houses offer a peaceful environment close to nature.

Tyra's Farmhouse

A beloved gem popular with both couples and families. Characterized by a beautiful tiled stove, wedge-sawn pine flooring, and wide baseboards that enhance its charm.

Includes one triple room, one double room, and one single room. Fully equipped kitchen. Outside is a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the tranquility during the day and the evening sun.

In 2024, the cottage underwent a comprehensive renovation and extension, enhancing comfort while preserving its rural character.

Stina's Farmhouse

Features an open-plan layout combining living room and kitchen, centered around a beautiful wood-burning stove. Includes three double rooms and one single room. Fully equipped kitchen.

Outside is a generous terrace for enjoying peaceful days and evening sunlight, as well as a spacious garden.

Stina’s was carefully renovated in 2016 to restore its rural charm, and in 2024 the bathroom was rebuilt to further enhance comfort.
